So, last week New Work announced that it's traditional for them to take a photo of me and post it, along with a brief bio written by me, on the notice boards in the office coffee rooms. Luckily, LiveJournal has given me ample practice with requests of this nature (click for legible text):

At last, a meme that justifies my rule of only friending attractive people.

Lots of people on my friends list seem to be doing this (though

bisonfish was the first I saw), but I'd enjoyed a suprisingly large number before it even occurred to me to participate. I guess I normally treat the internets as just another (indeed, my primary) entertainment/distraction vector, so I sometimes forget that LJ is something that I actually do as well...

Contrary to the spirit of the meme (but entirely congruent with my nature), I took 7 or 8 pictures, but then settled on the first one that I took after all.
