Yesterday rocked:
  • Productive day at work, including successfully training some clients

  • Met up with [livejournal.com profile] tinyjo in a bookshop and browsed for an hour

  • Wandered to Los Iguanas, for:
    • Experimental choice of starters (calamari and seviche), both ridiculously nice.

    • Belly of pork braised in orange and smoked jalapeno sauce, also excellent.

    • Chocolate banoffee pie and a margarita, the dessert of champions.
...all served by a super cute waitress.

  • Leisurely cycle home.

  • Tea and reading in bed.

  • Teh h0t se><0rs.

  • Falling asleep hugging, listening to our new comedy CD and giggling.
More of my days should be like that.

And, thinking about it, they totally can be.

Sweet.

So where did you find a bookshop in Oxford that would yield an hour's worth of interest?
From: [identity profile] oxfordhacker.livejournal.com
It was Borders, actually. We were looking for a book that [livejournal.com profile] tinyjo could talk about in her interview so we just hung around in the children's section marvelling at the sort of thing kids like these days (or, I suppose, the sort of thing that kids are encouraged to like these days). It was interesting browsing from that perspective though, needless to say, kid's books were better back in our day...
